I started teaching here at Our Savior Lutheran school in August of 1992. I have always loved teaching young children and the fact that I am able to teach these children the love of Jesus Christ makes my life complete. If you are new to our school, welcome to a school full of love and true dedication to children and their families.
"Let the little children come to me." Matthew 19:14a
My family and I moved from Michigan to Florida in 1987. I attended school at Our Savior Lutheran, went to Sunday School, and was also involved in Our Savior Youth groups. My husband and I also have a daughter that now attends school here. I have been working at Our Savior since 2014 as an assistant in the 18 month class and am now an assistant in VPK. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 143:10 -
"Teach me to do your will, for you are my God."
I was born and raised in the Philippines. I graduated from Regina Carmeli College in 1990 and moved to the United States in 1997. I have been married for since 2001 and I’m blessed with two children who are both attending Our Savior Lutheran Church and School. I started volunteering at Our Savior Lutheran in the Pre-school and later on in 2013 I was hired as a Teacher Assistant in 3 year old class.
My favorite verse is, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6
I began my career with Our Savior Lutheran School in 2008. I have a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts, and I graduated from the Child Development Association program in 2011. I have one child here at OSLS in 5th grade, and another at Nova High School. Working with children, and showing them the love of God is something I hold very dear to my heart.
I graduated from Western Oregon University from 2008 and I joined the Our Savior family later that year. I am very blessed to serve here at Our Savior as the two-year-old teacher.
Love one another John 13:34
I have been teaching at Our Savior since 2006, I consider this to be a continuous wonderful opportunity to share all of God's blessings with my students. There is nothing more rewarding than teaching the Lutheran school lessons that had such a positive, life-long impact on me when I was a child. I hope to guide the children with tools that will help them the rest of their lives.
“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” 1 John 4:12
I have been working at Our Savior since 2004. I am the Teaching Assistant in the VPK 4 year old program working with Mrs. Beck. My daughter, is an alumni of Our Savior.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
I'm very passionate about teaching little kids having gone through this with my daughters as well (still very fond of those memories 🙂 ). I'm happy with the program here at Our Savior Lutheran school both as a teacher for the kids and as a parent for my daughters. I find it caring for the children and with an individualized focus.
I've been volunteering and substituting since 2012 and then started teaching 18 month olds in 2015.
I appreciate our enlarged family here at Our Savior Lutheran school, feeling shared by my daughters as well over the years - they're still keeping in touch with all their teachers since PreK.
"Let the little children come to me." Matthew 19:14
I began my teaching career at Our Savior Lutheran Preschool in 1993 when my two youngest daughters started preschool here. They have since grown up and graduated from college and I still go to preschool! I was so impressed and inspired by the loving, Christian atmosphere and staff that I'm still here and love what I do. As a teacher of young children it is my goal to instill a life-long love for learning and love of God in each child.

I was born and raised in Sweden and came to the United States in 1982. I'm married and have two boys. Both of my children have graduated from Our Savior. I started working at Our Savior Lutheran School in 2008. I was first working in extended care with the preschool children and then in 2010 joined Mrs. Strubbe's 3-year old class as her assistant. It's a blessing to be working with the little children every day. They always bring a smile to my face.
"Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
