I was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago. My children and I migrated to the States in 1982 where I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Special Education. working with children has been the love of my life. As a 3rd grade teacher with the New York City public school system, it was both a challenge and delight to watch children of various backgrounds grow academically, physically and emotionally. I am an ordained minister, and served as Sunday School Superintendent for 25 years at Overcoming Faith Ministries in the Bronx. My years of service in ministry and education , have prepared me for this new chapter with OSL extended care program. Although technically retired from teaching, it became clear that one never “retires” from helping young minds flourish. It is indeed a pleasure to work in a loving environment where Christ is exalted.
“With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love” Ephesians 4:2
